Who we are

Rentman by DotGomm is lettings and estate agency software for the UK and Ireland. It covers lettings, sales, property management and accounting, with the rentman.online portal for landlords, tenants and contractors and a free website for every agency.

Rentman is developed by DotGomm. DotGomm Ltd (company no. 16289808) is based in the UK and looks after agencies in the UK and Ireland, and development is led by dotGomm Inc in Canada. Customers deal directly with the people who build the software.

Our team

Rentman is run by a team with dedicated people for development, support, sales and accounts, so agencies always have someone who knows the software and knows their account. Nigel Gomm, who wrote the first version of Rentman, continues to lead its development alongside the wider team.

Development

Builds and maintains Rentman, rentman.online and every integration, including new integrations requested by customers.

Support

Helps agencies day to day by email at support@dotgomm.co.uk and by phone on +44 1200 377520, and runs training sessions.

Sales

Runs demos, prepares quotes and helps new agencies get set up.

Accounts

Looks after subscriptions and billing for customer agencies.

Direct from the developer

Since 1 April 2025, Rentman sales, support and development in the UK and Ireland have all been handled directly by DotGomm. Customers speak to the team that builds the software, and feature requests go straight to the people who can deliver them.

Our history

1994 Nigel Gomm creates Rentman and sells it directly to letting agents in London.
1998 Development continues full-time under DotGomm Inc, with a UK distribution partner handling sales, marketing and support.
2008 The first cloud-hosted version of Rentman is released.
2017 The modern version of Rentman's cloud-hosted system is released.
2020 DotGomm launches rentman.online, giving landlords, tenants and contractors their own access, and giving agents a streamlined interface for phones and tablets.
2025 DotGomm Ltd is established in the UK, and from 1 April 2025 Rentman is sold and supported directly by DotGomm.
