Rentman is a desktop application for letting and estate agents, backed by Microsoft Azure database servers hosted in the UK, with web access through rentman.online and access from macOS.

A desktop application with cloud-hosted data

Agency staff use Rentman as a full desktop application on Windows, and it runs on Windows 7, 10 and 11. Rentman's data is held on cloud-hosted Microsoft Azure database servers, and the desktop application, rentman.online and macOS access all work from that same data.

A familiar interface

Rentman uses a Microsoft Office-style ribbon, the same layout staff already know from Word, Excel and Outlook. Commands sit where people expect them, so new staff learn Rentman quickly.

Configurable by region, company and user

UK and Irish requirements are built in, from Right to Rent checks, HMO licences and safety certificates to Irish non-resident landlord tax retention. Company and user preferences control workflows, documents and integrations. Because these settings are configurable by region, company and user, Rentman can also be adapted for agencies working in other jurisdictions.

Encryption of data in transit and at rest.
Role-based access controls with multi-factor authentication.
Regular security audits and penetration testing.
Documented incident response procedures.
UK GDPR compliant: DotGomm Ltd acts as a data processor for customer agencies under a Data Processing Agreement, with sub-processors listed on our GDPR compliance page.
Data is retained for six years after an account is cancelled, or longer if legally required, and can be exported during that time.
Continuous automatic backups with point-in-time restore, and agencies can make their own manual local backups at any time.
